There are many different ways to support the efforts of First Book-Charlotte in our communities. In hundreds of communities across the country, First Book volunteers are helping to bring the magic of books to children in need. First Book believes that local individuals can best identify the strengths and needs of their communities. First Book Advisory Boards are committees of volunteers, representing a community or campus, that come together to raise awareness and funds in order to provide new books to local literacy programs serving children from low-income families.

Opportunities for Companies Organizations
- Become a First Book Partner
We work closely with our network of corporate and nonprofit partners to develop new ways to use private sector strategies for the public good. - Become a Publishing Partner
By making large-scale donations to the First Book National Book Bank, publishing companies save the cost of multiple book shipments to fulfill donation requests and can refer organizations requesting book donations to the FBNBB. - Donate warehouse space
We have an ongoing need for warehouse facilities that can accept drop-shipments and deliveries of new books.
